About Zap Studios

Zap! Studios officially opened it's virtual doors in March 2013. Since that time, we've happily helped over 500 people with their party planning needs. Our personalized invitations and party printables provide you with just the right touch of flair to set the perfect mood for any party. With over 50 themes (and growing!) to choose from and full customization available, we're confident you'll find just what you looking for!

The fan art section of the biz began in June 2014 when my first piece of digital artwork, How To Train The Doctor was published at TeePublic. I'm enjoying the chance to create new things and I am continuing to add designs there and at Redbubble when I have time.

About Sarah Switalski, Owner/Designer
I have worked in the Graphic Design industry off an on since I received my degree 10 years ago. The corporate design world never really appealed to me though. My journey into freelance design started in 2003 when I opened my first shop on CafePress. 3 years ago my Mom saw an article about designers on Etsy and suggested the idea to me. As usual, I should have listened to my mother! Instead, I continued to suffer through my full time job for 3 more years. I finally gathered the gumption to open my Etsy Shop in March 2013 and I'm proud to say, it's been a success! I love that I have been a part of over 500 unique celebrations around the globe!

I also love that I can stay home with my 2 children during the day and be there for the little celebrations in their everyday life.
It's a good thing I'm a night owl because the kids keep me running during the day! When I do find spare time I enjoy reading, crochet, writing Squidoo lenses and watching Doctor Who, Sherlock and Orphan Black (among others).
